HYIP Investing: What You Need To Know Craig Czajka What is HYIP investing and what makes so many people be involved in investing in it? High Yield Investment Program is investments in other investment markets that produce a high rate of return to the investor. Its popularity comes from the fact that normal financial instituion returns can not compete with what HYIP can produce. Risky is the name of the game in the HYIP arena. If it were not risky then the profits would not be as potentially high as they are. HYIPs come and go and the investor must understand that you should not spend more on these investments than one can afford. Not only do programs come and go but there is a lot of corruption in the community. Scams are a big problem for the HYIP industry and can be very prevelent. The lure of easy money and taking advantage of people causes a lot of unstable programs. Always do background on the investments that you want to join. There are many resources for this such as forums or HYIP monitors. Programs promising returns that double your investment the next day is probable one to watch out for. Send emails with questions to the admins and check their contact information. Always do your DD (Due Diligence) on any program that you plan to invest with. It does not take long to do backgrounds on these sites, talk to others who are using them and check out HYIP monitoring sites for information. If in your gut you have a good feeling after doing all your DD, then you probably have a good program. What is the best strategy to use when investing in programs? My personal preference is to use diversity. Spread your capital around to several programs instead of just one. That way if one fails you do not lose all your capital investment. A lot of small profit when added together equals a big profit. Stay patient, do not jump at every program that is thrown at you saying it has tremondous proft. Be conservative and stick with your strategy of diversification, in the long term it will pay huge dividends. Never reinvest your earnings until after you have taken out your initial capital that you first put in. That way, if the program does ever go bad then at least you were investing with profits and not your cash. Always take your initial capital out first then you can reinvest for bigger profits. Supplimenting your investment portfolio with HYIP is smart and profitable if you stick with your plan. Patience is a virtue.
