The ebook should have very useful information but not the information you intend to sell in your product. You will then place the salesletter for your product in the free ebook.  The trick is very simple. When someone downloads your free ebook, he has as well downloaded your salesletter for your product. If the ebook is of high quality and he finds the information in it useful, he will read the salesletter for your product and will not hesitate to order for your product.  Formula 2: Free Ebook + Service Salesletter
 This is very similar to the first formula because again, we shall be using the power of FREE. The difference is that in this case, instead of offering a product for sale, you will be selling your service through the free ebook. Like before, you will create the free ebook and place the salesletter for your service inside the ebook. Then you will advertise the ebook for free download. Once the ebook is downloaded, your salesletter will be read and you will receive orders for your service.
 But what kind of service can you sell online? Beautiful question. You see, almost any service can be sold online using this formula. For example, a website designer may write a free ebook titled "How To Do Any Internet Business Profitably In Nigeria" and place his salesletter for his web-design service in the ebook. Another example; an estate agent may produce a free ebook titled "How To Get Your Dream House" and then advertise his services as an estate agent in the free ebook.
 Please note that this formula is not limited to the web-designer and the estate agent. Others including lawyers, doctors, travel agents, motor mechanics, catfish farmers, etc. can also use this formula to sell their services.
 
 Formula 3: Free Ebook + Link To Website
 The power of the free ebook is so strong that we shall use it here again. Same procedure as formula 1 and 2 but there is just a slight difference. With this formula, you will produce an ebook and distribute it free but there won't be any salesletters for your product or service. Rather you will place links back to your website in the ebook. Of course this is assuming that you already have a product or service that you sell on your website. Note that you don't just place the links in your ebook. It must be done in such a way that readers of your ebook are practically forced to click on the links or to visit the page on your website.
 For example, you may offer some free bonuses and ask your reader to visit a particular page on your website to claim the bonuses. As you must have realised, the aim of this formula is to attract traffic to your website. Whether you make money or not now depends on the product or service you have on your website and the ability of your sales-page to convert visitors to customers.
 When properly used, this method is very effective as it continues to bring traffic to your website years after you must have given out the free ebook.
